How long are the held messages kept in quarantine?
Messages are held in quarantine for a period of 30 days. This is valid for the Full message list and the Quarantine.
Each day a schedule is run and checks for emails that are 31 days old. Emails reaching this criteria are moved to the "Archive" area.
Emails are stored in the Archive area for 60
days.
In total, this means that MailShark will store emails for up to 90 days on-line.

Emails reaching this criteria are deleted from MailShark.
Should I be doing house keeping and manually deleting these from time to time?
There is no need to perform any house cleaning on stored emails, MailShark automates the whole process.
What is the purpose of the "Archive" message list?

The Archive message list allows the "Full message list" and "Quarantine" areas of MailShark to stay fast, efficient and optimised enhancing the user experience.
